My name is Vadym Zolotoruk.

RUK started with one simple decision — to stop waiting and finally begin.

I grew up around clothing. My parents used to sell second-hand pieces at local markets, and I spent a lot of time watching people go through racks and choose what they wore. That’s probably where my interest in clothing started.

At 15, I began going to thrift stores on my own. I started learning about brands, fabrics, quality and details. Eventually I got into reselling, which helped me understand even more about how clothing is made.

But deep down I didn’t just want to sell clothes.

I wanted to build something of my own.

When I was 22, I received a sewing machine as a gift. That moment changed a lot for me. I started learning how to make pieces myself — slowly, making mistakes, improving over time.

For years I kept thinking about starting a brand.

The truth is — starting is the hardest part. But it’s also the most important one.

So instead of waiting for the perfect moment, I finally decided to begin.

That’s how RUK was born.

The name RUK comes from a part of my last name. I shortened it because I wanted something simple and personal for the brand.

The goal behind RUK is simple: to create premium everyday pieces that people can wear comfortably in their daily lives.

Nothing complicated — just well-made clothing that feels right.

When you wear RUK, you’re supporting a small brand built from a real story. And honestly, this is just the beginning.
